How old are you? 31
Tell us a bit about your BJJ history. The first contact i had with bjj was on July 2013 during a weekend back home in Madrid. My passion then was pole dancing and one of my pole friends invited me to try her grappling class. Trying to learn some guillotines was so much fun I couldn’t do anything but find a jiu Jitsu school when I got back to London. I started training at RGA Cesar Lima straight away and I’ve been training regularly since that.
Why did you stick with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu? I like everything about it. Training at much fun. And preparing for competition/ competing is the most exciting thing I’ve done in my life. Very hard physically and mentally, but that makes it very rewarding.
And you chose to be associated with Grab and Pull because….? I have long legs and it can be very difficult to find gis that fit me right. G+P is just perfect for me and I love the design.
One sentence that sums up your approach to life and sport: Quoting Steve Jobs “The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet keep looking, don’t settle” His speech to Stanford university made a huge impact on me.
One interesting fact that no one would know about you: When I was younger I wanted to be a writer. I loved to write about politics and society and I had a wordpress where I posted for a few years.
